Clara Chung
Counselling
“Clara is a master’s student of Marriage & Family Therapy at Trinity Western University. She feels honoured to accompany clients on their journeys into their dark places as they trust her with their stories, vulnerabilities, and longings. She knows the toll of living in this highly stressful world and is continually inspired by clients who work to build new relationships with themselves and those around them. She believes that healing is achieved through connection, and that emotion must be moved through for healing to occur. As a student informed by the systemic approach and the emotionally focused model of therapy (EFT), she seeks to form a holistic understanding of problems and stuck places, with the knowledge that presenting symptoms can be maintained by the systems the client is a part of. In this, she strives to provide safety, predictability, and choice within the therapeutic relationship. Clara believes that all behaviour makes sense within its given context, and celebrates with you as you take this next step.”
